MAME 0.194



Nueva versión del Mame final como cada último miércoles del mes, que desde hace varias versiones incluye el Mess en el mismo programa. Es un emulador de maquinas recreativas creado por Nicola Salmoria y el Mess lo que hace es emular ordenadores y consolas  como Spectrum, Commodore 64 y muchas mas.

CAMBIOS:
Today we’re proud to deliver MAME 0.194, the first MAME release of 2018. Following on from the
optimisation in last month’s release, MAME now features a Hyperstone E1-XS recompiler, giving substantial performance improvements in a number of Korean games. Several issues affecting cheats, lua scripting, the internal debugger, and disassembly have been resolved. We’ve added support for the prototype Atari game Cyberstorm, and Gaelco’s Last KM which was designed to integrate with an exercise bike. This release expands and improves support for TV games with fixed software. Additions include the TV Boy II, Super TV Boy, and Radica Space Invaders. Emulation has been substantially improved for games using NES-derived hardware from V.R. Technologies.

The flow of LCD handheld games shows no sign of abating This month we’ve added Thief in Garden, Super Double Dragon, Vindicators, Skeleton Warriors, and The Incredible Crash Test Dummies. There are plenty more improvements to FM Towns emulation in this release, allowing more games to boot and fixing graphical errors. The Matsushita MyBrain 3000 and closely-related Ericsson Step/One have been promoted to working. Acorn Electron peripherals have been overhauled and several new options are available.

In arcade emulation, we’ve got improved graphics emulation for Nintendo’s Popeye, and support for two more bootleg versions. There are also improvements to graphical effects in several Data East games, and improvements to IGS PGM2 emulation making Knights of Valour 3 playable. Plenty more alternate versions of supported arcade games have been added. One does deserve a mention, and that’s Bioplaything Cop, a prototype of Gaelco’s Biomechanical Toy.

PPSSPP CWCheat Pack V.2.0

Nueva versión que susituye a la anterior de este pack contiene más de 4000 archivos de trucos en formato cwcheat, que pueden usarse en emuladores como PPSSPP, en esta nueva versión se han añadido más de mil nuevos juegos con trucos, se han arreglado muchos que no funcionaban por el formato y eliminado algunos que no funcionan ya que los juegos en esos casos los códigos cambian en cada partida o nivel.

Para usarlos.
Extraer los ficheros ini en la carpeta memstickde de la versión del emulador PPSSPP en la carpeta cheats
Por ejemplo:

YabaSanshiro v1.3.1

Es un emulador de Sega Saturn antes conocido como UoYabause creado por Devmiyax y que aunque no es mejor que el Ssf si ha progresado mucho sobre todo en los juegos 3d que se ven muy filtrados.

WinUAE 3.6.0

Nueva versión final por fin del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl,permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningun borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opcioes.

Cambios:

Core emulation updates:
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 full instruction and data cache emulation, with or without MMU emulation.
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 EC model partial MMU (transparent translation registers only) emulation.
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 MMU emulation performance improved (added extra translation caches).
- STOP-instruction CPU model specific undocumented behavior emulated when parameter does not have S-bit set.
- 68020+ DIVS/DIVU CPU model specific undefined overflow condition N and Z flags emulated.
- Undocumented 68881/68882 FMOVECR values emulated.
- 68020/030 BCD instructions undocumented V flag behavior fixed (68000 was already correct)
- Optional Toshiba Gary slow (chip ram like) Z2 IO and/or ROM space access speed.

Emulated hardware expansion updates:

- Added Cubo CD32 later revision hardware support, PIC copy protection, touch screen, NVRAM and RTC emulation. (TODO: Coin and ticket dispenser support, no hardware information available)
- Cubo CD32 is now an expansion device, added DIPs, PIC game ID/language and expansion device enable options.
- A2090 Combitec and MacroSystem 3rd party ROM update/adapter supported.
- DKB 1230/1240/Cobra and Rapidfire flash rom write support added.

New emulated hardware expansions:

- Ashcom Addhard (SCSI)
- Evesham Micros Reference (SCSI)
- FastATA 4000 MK I/II (IDE)
- Gigatron Arriba (IDE)
- Kupke Golem HD3000 (OMTI)

Direct3D 11 support implemented:

- Requires Windows 7SP1 and later. Windows 7 requires KB2670838 (Available via Windows update as an optional update), Windows 8 and later does not need any extra packages like D3D9 support required (Ancient DX9 redistributable).
- Requires hardware level 9.1 or higher, which means most Windows 7 capable GPUs are supported.
- All Direct3D9 mode features supported (overlays, masks, custom shaders)
- Variable sync (G-Sync, possibly also FreeSync) supported in windowed mode.
- Many D3D9 custom shaders are supported automatically, some require manual modifications to work in Direct3D 11 mode.

Other new features and updates:

- Simple box art/screenshot config file support.
- If Wait for Blitter is enabled and blit size makes no sense, don’t wait. Fixes long delay in Vital / Mystic.
- Added “CIA 391078-01” advanced chipset checkbox. This CIA revision has a bug in IO port output mode, reading output mode port will always read output mode data state. Other models, including original DIP 8520, 391078-02 and Akiko internal CIAs read IO pin external voltage level as documented. This can affect “bad” mouse left button/joystick fire button reading code (not working or stuck button). Used in A600. A1200/A4000 can have -01 or -02 revision.
- Added ATAPI Tape drive emulation.
- CD SCSI emulator READ CD-DA and READ CD-DA MSF commands emulated.
- Expansion device GUI changes are now always activated after hard reset.
- uaehf.device hardfiles/harddrives unit number is now user configurable.
- “Include CD and FMV Audio” and/or sound mode change on the fly when CD or FMV audio is playing is now supported.
- Debugger assembler support (a) and some other misc debugger updates.
- Optional non-rawinput mouse and keyboard mode is back (-norawinput_all)
- Added Misc panel option to show WinUAE in Windows shutdown/logoff screen (Vista or newer) if emulation session is active.
- JIT Direct is allowed in CyberStorm PPC configuration but it also disables CSPPC MAP ROM hardware feature.
- Ability to image CHS-only IDE drives using USB adapters that don’t support CHS-only drives. (Common side effect is drive being detected but it appears as zero size drive in Windows Disk Management)

Bugs fixed:

- It was not possible to override Z2 RAM board autoconfig data if board had built-in manufacturer/product ID defaults.
- It was not possible to change existing path with Select Directory/Select Archive or Plain File buttons.
- Fixed 64-bit version random crashes that usually happened with some shell extensions.
- Z3 RAM in manual mode was completely broken.
- UAE directory harddrive/hardfile KS 1.2 autoboot hack didn’t work without extra reset if UAE autoconfig board wasn’t first board in autoconfig chain.
- 68030 data cache emulation corrupted data if write was cached, write size was word or long and address was odd.
- 68040/060 without FPU: many FPU instruction F-line exceptions generated incorrect stack frames.
- ECS Denise BPLCON2 ECS-only bits (for example KILLEHB) were masked unless AGA was also selected.
- Obsolete IDE FORMAT TRACK command fixed.
- GamePorts panel custom mapping incorrectly parsed joystick autofire state from config file.
- Directory filesystem ACTION_SET_DATE failed to change date stamp if file was read-only.
- 68020 memory cycle exact CPU speed slider is again partially working, CPU speed can be reduced but not increased.
- GamePorts panel custom mapping incorrectly parsed joystick autofire state from config file.
- uae-configuration joystick port (joyportx) modification only queued but didn’t apply changes.
- uaeserial.device crash fixed. DTR/RTS state now match serial.device behavior when device is opened.
- Fixed uaegfx VRAM size check, some modes that almost filled whole VRAM didn’t appear in resolution list.
- uaenet.device didn’t close low level ethernet handles when Amiga was reset, causing duplicate packets.
- Bitplane overrun condition triggered incorrectly in rare situation where bitplane DMA is enabled after DDFSTOP on OCS
- Tape drive emulation fixes. Fixes Amix install error if last file on tape was selected for install.

AVI recording bug fixes and updates:

- First avioutput recorded frame was sometimes partially corrupted.
- When saving state with avioutput active: last frame before state save was not recorded.
- Number of avioutput frames buffered (waiting for compression thread processing) counter was reset periodically which caused lost frames (and leaked memory) in recorded video if CPU was not fast enough.
- Delay initialization until first display frame or sound buffer recording request comes, previously - “before filtering” option may have used wrong display size in some situations.
- Uncompressed video selection is not forgotten anymore.
- First frame was not rendered (and also not recorded) if statefile was restored when emulation was already running.
- If emulator state was changed (debugger breakpoint, statefile save etc..), last frame before state change was not recorded.
- File splitting (2G limit) incorrectly flushed sound buffers causing random sound glitches.
- Added -max_avi_size <bytes> -command line parameter to set split size.
- If recording was started and GUI was never opened in same session, sound recording rate become 44100Hz, causing AV syncronization issues if real rate was not same.

Project64 Legacy v1.6.1 Open Beta

Es una nueva versión de uno de los mejores emuiladores de Nintendo 64:

I bring you our first beta release.
We felt we had been taking too long and needed to generate some interest.

What we offer here is an improvement over PJ64 1.6 and I consider it to be our Legacy (hence the name).
We have had great support from our friends, notably Azimer for his work on his audio plugin that he has graciously allowed us to release, Icepir8 for his video plugin (I will better support it soon, I promise ice!), Witten for his always excellent work on cheats, Nekokabu who always brings insight into problems with games (I'm sorry I haven't had the time to fix everything you've pointed out!).
And always a thanks to those that have stuck around, Clements, TrotterWatch, Squall but can't fully commit anymore like they used to (Life moving on stinks!)

Of course to those that found out how to fix the problems no one else looked at, zoinkity I love your work.
Luigiblood, just wow with your work into 64DD -- I'll be visiting that library you've built for us at some point!

Zilmar and Jabo the original two who I'll always love dearly.
Despite the differences we have had I cannot how any rancor towards you.

Yes I'm forgetting a whole lot of people!

I am programming on my leisure time and I just spent the entire Christmas holiday weekend doing nothing but programming and taking naps (I say naps but these were simply instances where I was no longer awake).

Unfortunately Gent is the one who set up this forum and website so we'll have to wait for him in the morning to do the posts!

I'll upload here too and I'm sure Gent will get after me in his morning for doing something wrong.

Asuncia - Matsue no Jubaku PSX traducido al inglés

Se ha traducido completamente al inglés por John Osborne el juego Asuncia - Matsue no Jubaku, es un RPG que fue publicadO por Xing Entertainment en Japón el 27 de Noviembre de 1997.

Para usarlo podeÍs parchear el bin o img o usarlo en epsxe directamente poniendo el parche en la carpeta patches y renombrar el ppf a SLPS_010.97

Traducción Phantasmagoria II PC v.1.2 al español

Cemu v1.11.3

Para comenzar el año nueva versión final de este emulador de Wii U que va mejorando cada vez más pero por ahora empiezan a funcionar juegos, es algo lento todavía pero progresa muy rápido.

Características:
- Puede correr imágenes de Wii U encriptadas (WUD) y archivos RPX/RPL
- Resolución Interna es  1920x1080 (Si el juego la soporta)
- Sin optimizar. Espera bajos framerates y largos tiempos de carga.
- Funciona sólo en Windows x64 . puede que en otras plataformas posteriormente.
- Requerido OpenGL 3.3

CAMBIOS:
– Añadida emulación del multi-procesador PowerPC
– Soporte de SpotPass (auto-carga de archivos BOSS)
– Pequeñas optimizationes
– Algunod pequeños cambios y arreglos de fallos

– general: NFC menu now has shortcuts to recently loaded NFC files

– CPU/JIT: Added support for multi-threaded CPU emulation (with recompiler)
Dual-core mode will allocate one thread for the main PPC core (1) and one thread for core 0 and 2
Triple-core mode allocates one thread for each PPC core

– coreinit: Added API MCP_Get4SecondOffStatus, MCP_DeviceList, MCP_FullDeviceList, MCP_UpdateCheckContext, MCP_TitleListUpdateGetNext, MCP_GetOverlayAppInfo, IM_GetRuntimeParameter

– GX2: Added new graphic pack texture rule options:
‘overwriteLodBias’ Replace the lod bias
‘overwriteRelativeLodBias’ Add value to game’s lod bias rather than overwriting it
Typical valid values are in range -16.0 to 16.0
– GX2: Cache drawcall index data across frames if GPU buffer cache accuracy is set to low
– GX2: uf_windowSpaceToClipSpaceTransform is no longer affected by render target rescaling
– GX2: Added API GX2QueryBeginConditionalRender, GX2QueryEndConditionalRender
– GX2: Fixed order in which flip and vsync event callbacks are called
– GX2: Various smaller optimizations

– nn_boss: Added IOSU boss/nim module
