WinUAE 4.0.0

Nueva versión final por fin del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32. Laserdisc y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx, opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde, lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savestates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:
New major features:

- Beam Racing Lagless VSync which reduces input latency to sub-5ms. Replaces old Low Latency VSync. (Use 1-2 slice Lagless VSync to match old Low Latency VSync behavior)
- Virtual multi monitor support. Each virtual Amiga video output connector (Video port graphics adapter, RTG boards) can be “connected” to separate WinUAE window, emulating real hardware being connected to more than one physical monitor.
- Debugger supports running Amiga executables from shell, adds symbol and gcc stab debugging data support, loads executable to special reserved address space which enables detection of any illegal accesses byte accurately and more. (Details)
- Host mode FPU emulation mode is finally full extended precision (80-bit) capable. It is also fully - JIT compatible.

New other features:

- Overlay graphics led (power, floppy etc) support.
- Close confirmation option added to misc panel.
- Default WASAPI audio device automatically follows Windows default audio device.
- Directory harddrives now use uaehf.device as a fake device driver (replacing non-existing uae.device), for example programs that query extra information (like SCSI Inquiry data) now get valid data.
- Directory filesystem harddrive fake block size dynamic adjustment now starts from smaller disk size, workaround for WB free space calculation overflow when partition is larger than 16G.
- Harddrive imager now also supports native (mainboard/expansion board) IDE connected CHS-only drives.
- Disk swapper config file data is restored from statefile.
- Cirrus Logic RTG horizontal doubling support, keeps aspect ratio in doublescan modes.
- Action Replay II/III state file support improved.
- Windowed mode resize enable/disable option.
- CDTV SCSI and SRAM options moved to Expansions.

3.6.x bug fixes:

- WD33C93 based SCSI controllers hung the system if controller didn’t have any connected SCSI devices.
- Direct3D11 fullscreen mode didn’t open if monitor was connected to non-default GPU. (For example laptops with Intel and NVidia GPU with NV GPU connected to external monitor)
- Direct3D11 fullscreen ALT-TAB refresh problems and other D3D11 fixes.
- 68030 MMU PLOAD was broken (Caused Amiga Linux crash at boot).

Older bugs fixed:

- On the fly switching from non-cycle exact to cycle-exact mode stopped emulation in certain situations.
- Fixed E-Matrix accelerator board RAM selection.
- If CD was changed and system was reset during change delay, drive become empty and new CD was never inserted. Mainly affected CD32 and CDTV.
- Reset when uaescsi.device CD was mounted caused memory corruption/crash in certain situations.
- Code analyzer warnings fixed (uninitialized variables, buffer size checks etc..)
- Old JIT bug fixed: many CPU instructions didn’t set V-flag correctly. (Aranym)
-Inserting or removing USB input device caused crash in some situations.
- Softfloat FPU edge case fixes (FABS, FNEG with infinity, logarithmic instructions with NaN)
- Decrease/increase emulation speed input events didn’t do anything.
- Toccata audio was not fully closed when reset/reset and caused crash if new config was loaded and started.
- Removed forgotten, useless and obsolete “The selected screen mode can’t be displayed in a window, because..” check.
- Fixed WASAPI Exclusive mode audio glitches when paused/unpaused.
- Paula audio volume GUI volume setting was ignored if audio mode was mono.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 14

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

– Virtual RDB (generated when partition hardfile is mounted in non-UAE controller) now also supports >512 block size partitions.
– Some more code analyzer fixes.
– Paula audio GUI volume setting was ignored if audio mode was mono.
– Restrict minimum allowed JIT cache size to 128. (Previously too small unsupported size was allowed)
– Fixed uaescsi.device reset memory corruption if CD filesystem uses TD_ADDCHANGEINT.
– Logarithmic softfloat functions returned infinity when source value was nan.

Cambios:

- Toccata sound was not fully closed when reset/reset and caused crash if new config was loaded and
started.
- Returning back to D3D11 fullscreen from GUI didn't automatically recapture mouse. (b12)
- Debugger f <start> <end> was broken.
- Corrupted OSD graphics (if OSD was enabled) and extra dark/bright line was drawn at the bottom of display in lagless D3D11 fullscreen mode after exiting GUI.
- Second to last line was not drawn in lagless mode. Very last line is invisible by design.
- FMOVE and FMOVEM to memory didn't check if destination addressing mode was invalid (PC relative) and didn't generate F-line.
- FMOVE to control register didn't check if more than 1 control register bit was set which is also
invalid and should generate F-line.
- FMOVEM to (An)+ and from -(An) are invalid.
- Softfloat FABS and FNEG didn't handle infinity correctly.

Cambios:

– Don’t allow lagless vsync in normal windowed mode.
– Hide lagless vsync slice count in GUI if lagless vsync is not selected.
– Fixed crash if screen mode open failed and error dialog was shown. (b11)
– D3D11 fullscreen mode opened in primary monitor if selected non-default monitor was connected to another GPU.
– New debugger didn’t load 3.1 (and probably older) amiga.lib files.
– Added debugger_options config entry, currently only supported sub entry is pathprefix=x where x is string that gets appended to stabs source file paths.
– Try harder to find working path for stabs source files and when working path combination is found, remember it instead of enumerating all possible variants every time source file is loaded.
– uaedbg now breaks to debugger when debugged application causes unhandled exception via tc_TrapCode.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 11

Cambios:

– D3D11 fullscreen mode after alt-tab/gui was not restored properly if emulation was in paused state.
– D3D9 lagless vsync partial updates (introduced in b5) used incorrect (full, D3DLOCK_DISCARD) texture update mode.
– Decrease/increase emulation speed input events didn’t do anything.
– Power led dim config option is now integer (0 = fully off, 1 to 100 = brightness level)
– Hardware emulated graphics boards didn’t update properly without enabled OSD led (uaegfx was already fixed in b9)
– A2410 didn’t support multiple monitor mode.
– Merged Aranym JIT updates.
– Fixed old (since the beginning?) JIT bug: many instructions always cleared V-flag (ADDX, SUBX, NEGX, BTST/BCHG/BCLR/BSET, possibly others). Fix by Thorsten Otto.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 10

Cambios:

– Full-window mode captured mouse (and moved it to center of screen) even when window didn’t have focus.
– Removed single buffer display option, it was only useful when using old low latency vsync mode.
– Help button now asks for opening online help version if help file is not installed. (not finished yet)
– Added windowed mode resize enable/disable option. Default is enabled.
– Added D3D11 standard vsync black frame insertion support. (100Hz/120Hz)
– Action Replay II/III statefile support improved. (For example AR state was invalid when loading AR statefile when AR was already active)
– On the fly switching between fastest possible <> non-fastest possible CPU modes in lagless vsync
caused hang in certain situations.
– Debugger: show number of cycles used when tracing (t, z, breakpoints). Only shown if max 2 frames since last debugger activation. (TODO: should also count number of memory accesses and no-wait state minimum cycle count)
– Freezer cartridge automatic RTG switch on/off wasn’t reliable.
– Removed forgotten, useless and obsolete « The selected screen mode can’t be displayed in a window, because.. » check.
– 68030 MMU PLOAD R variant (R/W bit=1) caused f-line exception.
– Clear both ping-pong buffers when pausing/unpausing WASAPI exclusive sound mode.

Cambios:

- D3D11 mode screen was not fully refreshed when returning back to fullscreen RTG mode with ALT-TAB/GUI exit
- Inserting or removing USB device with very long internal device name caused a crash.
- Inserting USB device may have also logged some other already connected device as newly inserted.
- Fixed JIT FPU FETOXM1.
- If D3D11 mode with level 9.x hardware: test in init phase if main texture creation succeeds, fallback to D3D9 if it fails. It may unexpectedly fail with some old and broken drivers. Previously it would have caused blank screen.
- RTG screen was not updated if only hardware mouse cursor moved and RTG OSD was not enabled or multithreaded RTG was not enabled. (b8)

Cambios:

– CL horizontal doubling used wrong width size, fixed buffer overflow (b7).
– CL horizontal doubling multiplier changed to 9/10. Old value missed 320*200 resolution.
– 64-bit host FPU FMOVECR constants that didn’t fit in double were clamped to max when they should have been set to infinity.
– All logarithmic and trigonometric functions now use assembly code from existing JIT functions in new 80-bit host FPU mode. This should be feature complete now.
– Multithreaded RTG now only does color conversion/copy in separate thread, present() is done in main thread because of possible thread safety problems.
– Added quite pointless power led switches off/dims misc panel option. Affects OSD power led and D3D led overlay power led brightness.

Cambios:

– Added debugger ‘ex’ command: ‘e’ command with extended data: last value written and PC of CPU or Copper when value was written.
– UAEGFX RTG 15/16/24-bit graphics corruption fixed (b1).
– If multimonitor mode and aviout/screenshot: capture/record from window that has focus.
– Added horizontal doubling to Cirrus Logic emulation, enabled if screen height * 0.75 >= width. Keeps aspect ratio if CGX doublescan graphics mode is configured.
– Native screen OSD was drawn twice in some multimonitor configurations, also could have caused crashes or some other weird behavior.

Extended precision host FPU mode updates:

– Some FPU instructions used wrong precision.
– Supports divbyzero, underflow, overflow and inexact2 status bits and exceptions. Only in non-JIT FPU mode. (and no software really cares)
– FCMP uses softfloat comparison code if more compatible is enabled (FCMP can’t be directly mapped to host FPU), if not, it uses simple and quick test. (Difference: infinities, nans etc.. special cases only work in more compatible mode. No normal programs care, as usual)
– Uses softfloat routines for rarely used functions (most trigometric, fexpman, fscale etc). Previously:
extended to double conversion -> c-library math function -> double to extended conversion. Which probably wasn’t noticeably faster.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 6

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

- Added DCE Typhoon MK2 (A1200 accelerator). ROM is almost identical to E-Matrix 530/1230. Identical SCSI driver, slightly modified RAM detection code.
- Fixed E-Matrix RAM selection.
- Fixed crash in lagless vsync mode if CPU speed was on the fly changed.
- Fixed directory harddrive uaehf.device bugs.
- Added optional extended precision (80 bit) host FPU mode. (Probably becomes default and replaces old when/if this gets good enough)

Extended precision FPU mode:
- Fully JIT FPU compatible.
- 32-bit and 64-bit compatible.
- Uses short assembly routines to directly execute x86 FPU instructions. (MSVC does not support long double, other UAE ports usually use long doubles by default)
- Basic floating point operations, square root, sin and cos are currently natively supported. Others use normal double precision C-library routines.
- Not yet fully working. Testing needed.

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

- Single scan line off by one fix in lagless vsync, frames+ mode now works correctly without static
horizontal lines.
- Single slice lagless vsync had blank display (b4)
- Automatic scaling and some other scaling modes had very strange corrupted display in lagless vsync mode. Some small tearing is still possible if scaling is large enough.
- END+F9 lagless vsync debug mode now also adds small flickering markers that show where Amiga-side slices are positioned (Optimally they should be in the middle of large color bars). Switching screen modes does not anymore automatically disable debug colors.
- Reduced amount of data copied in lagless vsync if null filter or d3d shader is enabled.
- Overlay leds (b2) are now also supported in D3D9 mode.
- BPLCON1 delay logic fix when single scanline had at least one odd plane delay not equaling even plane delay and then one or more odd == even delays. (Very rare situation)
- Debugger fa command didn't find anything.
- Disassembler crashed if it disassembled FMOVECR instruction and statefile was loaded without enabled FPU.
- Switching from non-cycle exact to cycle exact mode stopped interrupts if only single INTENA interrupt was enabled.
- Moved CDTV SRAM from Advanced chipset to Expansions and added size selection.

Lagless vsync is now mostly complete. Tweaking to do, depending on feedback.

Cambios:

- Show only every 10th frame in D3D11 warp mode. For some reason Present() blocks if rate is higher than current max monitor refresh rate, not even DXGI_PRESENT_ALLOW_TEARING or DXGI_PRESENT_DO_NOT_WAIT help.
- Normal windowed D3D11 vsync mode should work correctly again.
- Default WASAPI audio device now follows Windows default audio device if default gets changed and emulation is already running.
- Renamed new low latency vsync to official "Lagless VSYNC (Beamraced)".
- Flip first slice early, before vblank (Early flip won't cause tearing as long as it happens during last slice). This should fix tearing in topmost slice when flip gets delayed (which for some unknown reason seems to regularly happen if flipping is done during vblank). This change makes last debug color bar shorter which is normal.
- Use NtDelayExecution and ZwSetTimerResolution (if available) for sub 1ms delays in non-fastest possible CPU low latency vsync modes.
- Replaced FastLane ROM with full 32k dump.
- Emulated (partially) C-Ltd Kronos.
- Removed CDTV SCSI from Advanced Chipset. It is optional hardware module and should be only in Expansion panel. Old CDTV SCSI configured config files are still supported but this and future versions won't write old CDTV SCSI config file entry to config file anymore.

C-Ltd Kronos:
- 5380 based SCSI controller with buffer RAM.
- Boot ROM added ("CLtd RomBoot 3.4, Copyright 1989, Wayne E. Miller")
- Boot ROM is only small driver loader from drive's custom partition table.
- SCSI settings are stored in 256 bit 93C06 serial EEPROM. EEPROM is emulated but data is static (boot enabled, SCSI ID=7)
- Install disk is MIA: Emulation is not yet complete, for example buffer RAM/fake DMA is not emulated.

Lagless VSync still does not support autoscale or other scaling options. Amiga overscan display height must still match (mostly) monitor height.

VariableSpeedLowRes in the zone can be used for tearing testing.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 3

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

– New low latency vsync should now work under Windows XP, D3D9 only.
– Added ICD AdSCSI ROM with icddisk.device v33.0 (unknown ROM version, most likely v2.0 or v2.1) and v34.0 (v2.2 ROM version)
– Added MacroSystem DraCo v1.3 Boot ROM. Set it as extended ROM, A3000 KS 3.1 as normal ROM. (Boots and hangs like Casablanca)
– Fixed MOVE16 debugger disassembly.
– Fixed HDF/directory harddrive unit number conflict (if directory was between HDFs in harddrives list) introduced in b1.
– Fixed randomly occurring timing issue. Reported refresh rate suddenly increased and it looked like warp mode was activated.
– Full-window mode is now supported in virtual multi monitor mode. Native mode window opens on selected monitor, next virtual monitor opens on following real monitor and so on (or on top of existing window if not enough real monitors)

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 2

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

- New low latency vsync tweaks and updates.
- If low latency vsync polling takes longer than 2 vblanks, exit immediately to prevent total hang if scanline reads return unexpected and weird values.
- Display panel "native" resolution returned non-existing mode which got fixed to smallest supported resolution.
- Fixed clipboard sharing.
- Fixed graphics corruption (black lines/tearing) in new low latency mode with Vertical centering enabled.
- Added overlay led support. Led overlays must have same resolution as main overlay file, fully transparent color except location of led. Name must be <original name>_x_led.png where x = power,df0,df1,df2,df3,hd,cd,md,net (md = flash/eeprom access, for example cd32 nvram) Currently D3D11 only.
- MMU emulation works again (at least 68030 was broken)
- If low latency vsync and DSOUND: switch to WASAPI. New low latency vsync needs "pull" mode audio driver.
- Added new misc panel option, asks for confirmation when trying to close emulation window using close button or ALT+F4/CTRL+F11.
- Fixed Output panel crash if capture before filtering was set.

WinUAE 4.0.0 Beta 1

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Lagless Vsync:

Replaces old low latency vsync mode.

What does it do? It reduces input latency from usual 20ms-40ms+ to less than 5ms! (or even less)

Current limitations:

- Does not support black frame insertion or frame doubling = use only standard 50Hz or 60Hz modes. (or up to 85Hz or so )
- Native mode only. Cycle-exact/approximate/fastest possible/JIT supported.
- Direct3D 9 and 11 only.
- Fullscreen only.
- Amiga display to monitor position mapping must be border to border vertically (or close enough) or you may see tearing lines.
- Does not gain anything from G-Sync.

Current features:

- Input is read after each slice.
- Default is 4 slices (adjustable in GUI) which makes max input latency about 6ms. (Assuming quality "gaming grade" USB input devices that use <=1ms USB rate.)
- Because output is shader based, outputting each slice requires full render pass each time. It technically means same as rendering screen 4 times the frame rate. (for example 50Hz output requires rendering 200 frames) -> don't enable any extra shaders unless you have powerful GPU. Most likely requires GPU with on-board RAM (discrete GPU) because this mode increases VRAM bandwidth requirements heavily. Or reduce resolution.
- END+F9 toggles debug colors when in low latency vsync mode (In normal modes END+F9 changes screens). When debug colors are disabled, useless screen clearing before each slice rendering is also disabled.

Multi virtual Amiga monitor support:

Enables multiple virtual Amiga monitors. Amiga monitor = single WinUAE window.

Default mode is unchanged, highest priority Amiga display output appear in single WinUAE window, switches automatically or manually (END+F9).

Optionally any video port display adapter or any RTG board can be disconnected from default monitor and connected to other monitor. (Monitor 1 to 4 select box in GUI, 1 = default). Only one signal source can be connected to non-default monitors. Only default monitor support on the fly switching/END+F9 manual switching.

Native (chipset) video output is always connected to first (default) monitor.

Each active monitor (WinUAE window) content is refreshed in real-time.

For example x86 VGA can be now visible at the same time with WB.

Limitations and other information:

- Windowed mode only (later full-window with single virtual monitor to physical monitor mapping)
- Fullscreen is not supported and won't be supported.
- Direct 3D 9/11 mode only. DirectDraw won't be supported.
- GUI options adjusts all monitors. If native/video port: native filter and all other native related settings are in use for all windows in native/video port mode, if RTG: GUI RTG settings are used for all monitors in RTG mode.
- Non-default monitors are always opened next to default monitor. Positions are not stored.
- It does not matter which window has focus/captured mouse. All windows listen for input normally.
- Non-default windows don't have status bar or OSD and only have name of monitor in title bar.
- Video port device's window opens immediately at startup, RTG board's window open when board's output is enabled with valid display configuration for the first time.

WinUAE 3.6.1

Nueva versión final por fin del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx, opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde, lectura de los discos en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

3.6.0 bugs fixed:
- Crash when running on first Windows 10 release version (build 10240) .
- D3D11 mode fullscreen to/from windowed mode change crashes/blank screens.
- D3D11 mode on screen leds on the fly on/off switching.
- D3D11 mode screenshot via GUI button didn’t work.
- Floppy sound type selection was not loaded correctly from config file.
- It was not possible to create “DOS” file names like “AUX” to directory filesystem.

Older bugs fixed:

- Floppy sound used incorrectly empty drive volume level in certain situations.
- PPC emulation interrupt handling rewrite, fixes for example hang/crash problems with NE2000 based network adapters under OS4.
- Not all Advanced chipset options reset when compatible checkbox was ticked.
- Autoscale ignored small vertical display areas in very top of display in some situations.
- Fixed random crash when at least one Input panel custom event string was set, Restart was clicked and then emulation was started again.
- Blizzard SCSI Kit IV (possibly others) SCSI phase error in certain situations.
- Added better validation to clipboard sharing IFF parsing to prevent crashes if data is truncated.
-joyport2 -config entry incorrectly used port 3 slot.
- Game Ports panel selected Custom input mapping reverted to none in some situations.
- Restart didn’t completely free configured emulated network cards.
- Other misc bugs fixed.

New features:

- OCS/ECS only BPLCON2 undocumented feature: “illegal” PF1 or PF2 value is now accurately emulated in dual playfield mode.
- If selected D3D11 fullscreen refresh rate is “default”: always prefer highest supported refresh rate.
Optional threaded emulated RTG VRAM to host OS surface color space conversion/copy.
- Added “Identity” checkbox to Add harddrive panel. If ticked and ATA identity can be read (Direct IDE connection, compatible USB adapter): real ATA identity data is used in emulated ATA device instead of generic UAE generated and drive appears exactly as it does in real hardware (identical name, geometry etc).
- CHS-only IDE drives can now be mounted in emulation and they appear with real size and geometry when using USB adapters that allow identity read but does not support CHS (like common JMicron based adapters).

Cambios:

Core emulation updates:
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 full instruction and data cache emulation, with or without MMU emulation.
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 EC model partial MMU (transparent translation registers only) emulation.
- 68030, 68040 and 68060 MMU emulation performance improved (added extra translation caches).
- STOP-instruction CPU model specific undocumented behavior emulated when parameter does not have S-bit set.
- 68020+ DIVS/DIVU CPU model specific undefined overflow condition N and Z flags emulated.
- Undocumented 68881/68882 FMOVECR values emulated.
- 68020/030 BCD instructions undocumented V flag behavior fixed (68000 was already correct)
- Optional Toshiba Gary slow (chip ram like) Z2 IO and/or ROM space access speed.

Emulated hardware expansion updates:

- Added Cubo CD32 later revision hardware support, PIC copy protection, touch screen, NVRAM and RTC emulation. (TODO: Coin and ticket dispenser support, no hardware information available)
- Cubo CD32 is now an expansion device, added DIPs, PIC game ID/language and expansion device enable options.
- A2090 Combitec and MacroSystem 3rd party ROM update/adapter supported.
- DKB 1230/1240/Cobra and Rapidfire flash rom write support added.

Direct3D 11 support implemented:

- Requires Windows 7SP1 and later. Windows 7 requires KB2670838 (Available via Windows update as an optional update), Windows 8 and later does not need any extra packages like D3D9 support required (Ancient DX9 redistributable).
- Requires hardware level 9.1 or higher, which means most Windows 7 capable GPUs are supported.
- All Direct3D9 mode features supported (overlays, masks, custom shaders)
- Variable sync (G-Sync, possibly also FreeSync) supported in windowed mode.
- Many D3D9 custom shaders are supported automatically, some require manual modifications to work in Direct3D 11 mode.

Other new features and updates:

- Simple box art/screenshot config file support.
- If Wait for Blitter is enabled and blit size makes no sense, don’t wait. Fixes long delay in Vital / Mystic.
- Added “CIA 391078-01” advanced chipset checkbox. This CIA revision has a bug in IO port output mode, reading output mode port will always read output mode data state. Other models, including original DIP 8520, 391078-02 and Akiko internal CIAs read IO pin external voltage level as documented. This can affect “bad” mouse left button/joystick fire button reading code (not working or stuck button). Used in A600. A1200/A4000 can have -01 or -02 revision.
- Added ATAPI Tape drive emulation.
- CD SCSI emulator READ CD-DA and READ CD-DA MSF commands emulated.
- Expansion device GUI changes are now always activated after hard reset.
- uaehf.device hardfiles/harddrives unit number is now user configurable.
- “Include CD and FMV Audio” and/or sound mode change on the fly when CD or FMV audio is playing is now supported.
- Debugger assembler support (a) and some other misc debugger updates.
- Optional non-rawinput mouse and keyboard mode is back (-norawinput_all)
- Added Misc panel option to show WinUAE in Windows shutdown/logoff screen (Vista or newer) if emulation session is active.
- JIT Direct is allowed in CyberStorm PPC configuration but it also disables CSPPC MAP ROM hardware feature.
- Ability to image CHS-only IDE drives using USB adapters that don’t support CHS-only drives. (Common side effect is drive being detected but it appears as zero size drive in Windows Disk Management)

Bugs fixed:

- It was not possible to override Z2 RAM board autoconfig data if board had built-in manufacturer/product ID defaults.
- It was not possible to change existing path with Select Directory/Select Archive or Plain File buttons.
- Fixed 64-bit version random crashes that usually happened with some shell extensions.
- Z3 RAM in manual mode was completely broken.
- UAE directory harddrive/hardfile KS 1.2 autoboot hack didn’t work without extra reset if UAE autoconfig board wasn’t first board in autoconfig chain.
- 68030 data cache emulation corrupted data if write was cached, write size was word or long and address was odd.
- 68040/060 without FPU: many FPU instruction F-line exceptions generated incorrect stack frames.
- ECS Denise BPLCON2 ECS-only bits (for example KILLEHB) were masked unless AGA was also selected.
- Obsolete IDE FORMAT TRACK command fixed.
- GamePorts panel custom mapping incorrectly parsed joystick autofire state from config file.
- Directory filesystem ACTION_SET_DATE failed to change date stamp if file was read-only.
- 68020 memory cycle exact CPU speed slider is again partially working, CPU speed can be reduced but not increased.
- GamePorts panel custom mapping incorrectly parsed joystick autofire state from config file.
- uae-configuration joystick port (joyportx) modification only queued but didn’t apply changes.
- uaeserial.device crash fixed. DTR/RTS state now match serial.device behavior when device is opened.
- Fixed uaegfx VRAM size check, some modes that almost filled whole VRAM didn’t appear in resolution list.
- uaenet.device didn’t close low level ethernet handles when Amiga was reset, causing duplicate packets.
- Bitplane overrun condition triggered incorrectly in rare situation where bitplane DMA is enabled after DDFSTOP on OCS
- Tape drive emulation fixes. Fixes Amix install error if last file on tape was selected for install.

AVI recording bug fixes and updates:

- First avioutput recorded frame was sometimes partially corrupted.
- When saving state with avioutput active: last frame before state save was not recorded.
- Number of avioutput frames buffered (waiting for compression thread processing) counter was reset periodically which caused lost frames (and leaked memory) in recorded video if CPU was not fast enough.
- Delay initialization until first display frame or sound buffer recording request comes, previously - “before filtering” option may have used wrong display size in some situations.
- Uncompressed video selection is not forgotten anymore.
- First frame was not rendered (and also not recorded) if statefile was restored when emulation was already running.
- If emulator state was changed (debugger breakpoint, statefile save etc..), last frame before state change was not recorded.
- File splitting (2G limit) incorrectly flushed sound buffers causing random sound glitches.
- Added -max_avi_size <bytes> -command line parameter to set split size.
- If recording was started and GUI was never opened in same session, sound recording rate become 44100Hz, causing AV syncronization issues if real rate was not same.

Laserdisc y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx, opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde, lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savestates y muchas otras opciones.



Cambios:
New emulated hardware:
- Comspec SA-1000

New features:
- Softfloat FPU emulation mode. Bit perfect FPU emulation (except transcendental functions), including full arithmetic exception support. (Co-operation with Previous emulator author)
- Lightpen emulation absolute coordinate HID (USB light guns) and touch screen device support.
- American Laser Games second player and Actionware dual light gun adapter emulation.
- Real harddrive mount lock option. Enables full exclusive access even if drive has Windows mounted FAT partition(s).
- winlaunch.lib is now built-in feature and is also 64-bit compatible.
- Show [Paused] in windowed mode title bar when in pause mode.
- If statefile is loaded with one or more floppy images that can’t be opened: keep fake disk in drive (like previously) and ask for new disk path when missing disk is accessed for the first time.

Custom chipset features emulated:
- AGA FMODE>0 unaligned bitplane and sprite pointer behavior implemented, resulting display corruption is now 100% accurate.
- BPLCON4 XOR mask special case in HAM6/8 or EHB modes.
- Loading blitter B-DAT manually when B-shift was nonzero.
- Lightpen hardware is now cycle-exactly emulated.
- Sprite special case when DMA mode sprite’s start X-coordinate is less than sprite’s DMA slot position.
- Audio interrupts are delayed by 2 cycles.

Feature improvements.
- 68020+ T0 trace mode is now fully emulated.
- 68020 cycle exact mode adjustments.
- Memory cycle exact mode mode accuracy improved
- Implemented previously unimplemented bsdsocket.library emulation sendmsg() and recvmsg().
- Recursive mode ROM scanner now skips directories starting with dot.
- MMU emulation can be now switched on/off on the fly.
- Release all currently pressed keys when emulation pauses.
- Added memory cycle-exact Quickstart step for A1200 and CD32 configurations. Less CPU heavy than full cycle-exact and usually not much more worse (or better). At least not until 68020 CE gets better.
- Escape old style directory and hardfile paths if it contains “,”.
- Masoboshi MasterCard fully implemented, including DMA support.

Bug fixes:
- FM801 16-bit audio corruption.
- A2090 ST-506 emulation.
- Possible crash when display was very wide with bitplane DMA overrun condition.
- Fixed crash when sound card audio play started and channel mode was mono and “Include CD and FMV audio” was ticked.
- Fixed crash when accessing accelerator board SCSI IO region without any added SCSI device(s).
- Fixed crash if Blizzard accelerator on board memory size was set to zero.
- JIT was not 512k or 1M Chip RAM compatible.
- Manual RAM configuration GUI didn’t accept smaller end address than current board size.
- Manually configured but disabled (size zero) Z2/Z3 banks were added to system.
- Apollo 1240/1260 memory address space fixed
- PC bridgeboard NE2000 boot crash fix.
- Windowed mode mouse does not anymore hit hidden barriers if window is partially outside of desktop or uncaptured if window is on top of task bar.
- If Custom autoconfig board order was enabled, expansion devices custom config setting(s) was not saved correctly.
- 68000 address error stacked PC was not correct in some read-modify-write instructions
- Untrap middle mouse button option was stuck.
- GUI listview column width calculation used default font size, not selected font.
- 68030 CE/prefetch mode cache access bug fixed.
- G-REX and Cirrus Logic graphics board state was reset if RAM or HW Info GUI panels were opened after emulation was started.

WinUAE 3.4.1 Beta 6

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

–  Comspec SA-1000 SCSI HD controller emulation. (Partially implemented only, don’t have working install disk)
– California Access Malibu SCSI HD controller emulation.
– Stop immediately with halt code 11 if initial PC does not point to any valid address or is odd when
CPU emulator starts.
– Manually configured but disabled (size zero) Z2/Z3 banks were added to system.
– Apollo 1240/1260 memory address space fixed. Memory disable jumper option added.
– 68000 address error stacked PC was not correct in some read-modify-write instructions.
– If Custom board order was enabled, expansion devices custom config setting(s) was not saved correctly.
– Emulate rare 68040/060 FPU (with unimplemented instructions not emulated) fpsp (68040/060.library) software emulation case correctly when both operands are denormals.
– Show [Paused] in windowed mode title bar when in pause mode.
– Transcendental functions added to softfloat emulation (Andreas Grabher). Not 100% identical results compared to 6888x but almost. Softfloat mode is now complete.
– Removed Arithmetic exceptions option, it is now always enabled in softfloat mode. (It was only
temporary option until arithmetic exceptions are fully implemented)
– Visual DMA debugger can be switched off, « vo ».
– Added visual DMA debugger -5 and -6 modes (-5 = larger overlay with « transparency » and -6 = no « transparency)
– Added separate colors for visual DMA debugger copper wait and special cases (strobe extra cycle, 0xe0 cycle)
– Added visual DMA debugger configuration: DMA channels can be disabled and colors can be changed. « vm » = show statuvm channel sub index = enable/disable toggle. (sub index is not used but must be included)vm channel sub index hex rgb = change color of channel. If sub index is zero: all sub index colors are changed.

Comspec SA-1000:
– Autobooting A1000 HD controller that also supports loading KS disk from HD!
– Not RDB compatible.
– WD33C93 based, PIO, handshake in hardware but still needs status register polling.
– « ComspecHD.device 34.805 (17 Oct 1988) » added to ROM scanner.

California Access Malibu:
– 5380 SCSI, fake DMA (Long word)
– « Malibu.device 1.0 (1 Jan 1991) » added to ROM scanner.

WinUAE 3.4.1 Beta 5

Nueva versión beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl, permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.

Cambios:

– Added Actionware dual light gun adapter emulation. Second gun config entries added to Input panel.
– More accurate lightpen emulation, if lightpen is enabled (bplcon0 bit 3), VPOSR is always stopped from beginning of last line to end of vblank (last line really is special!). Beam detection is now cycle
exact.
– Light guns apparently have pull up resistor in trigger line, at least Capone requires it.
– Added lightpen offset config entry (« lightpen_offset=x,y »). Offset is in Amiga hardware resolution, lores and non-laced.
– Automatically de-interleave unknown (not in ROM scanner) but valid looking 1M interleaved CD32 ROM images.
– Automatically byteswap unknown 256k, 512k and 1M KS ROM byteswapped images. ROM must have valid checksum, header and size fields.
– Implemented previously completely unimplemented bsdsocket.library emulation sendmsg() and recvmsg().
– Switching middle button = untrap on the fly didn’t change windowed mode title bar text.
– GVP SCSI emulation now supports boot roms that do not copy code to RAM first, without need for more compatible option. Only if not banked. (not guru rom).
