MAME 0.179
Nueva versión del Mame final como cada último miércoles del mes, que desde hace varias versiones incluye el Mess en el mismo programa. Es un emulador de maquinas arsade creado por Nicola Salmoria y el Mess lo que hace es emular emuladores y consolas como Spectrum, Commodore 64 y muchas mas.
Are you getting fidgety waiting for Halloween to arrive? Well now you can take your mind off the wait by giving the brand-new MAME release a spin! We’ve changed the release slightly this month: the whatsnew file is formatted differently, the 32-bit Windows binary package has « 32bit » in its filename, and we’re no longer providing a pre-built debug binary package for Windows. We’ve dropped the debug binaries as they don’t seem to have a target demographic. All builds include the MAME debugger. The release packages are built with symbols that will give a meaningful stack trace. The debug build was still optimised, so stack traces were no more precise. The main difference is that debug builds have assertions enabled which is mainly useful if you’re working on the source. In short, we don’t see a use case where someone would be better off with the debug build if they aren’t compiling MAME themselves anyway.
With that out of the way, what surprises does MAME have in store for you all this month? We’re pretty confident that we have something for everyone! First of all, we’re proud to present the Soviet arcade
game Istrebiteli (« Fighters », as in aircraft). We’ve also emulated Ocean to Ocean, an early video slots game on the DECO Cassette system. ShouTime has worked his magic again, allowing the masses to see the rare Alpha Denshi title Splendor Blast II. But possibly most interesting is preliminary emulation of the Magnet arcade system, a prototype floppy disk-based system from Spain.
We’ve also added a number of non-arcade systems. There’s the Gakken Game Robot 9 handheld game, and several Fidelity chess systems. Getting away from games altogether, we’ve added a working driver for a VeriFone Trans payment terminal. There have been some substantial updates to the software lists, too. The Sega CD software list has been completely updated to use the latest and best dumps known to exist, we’ve replaced a number of pirate Apple II disk images with clean cracks, there are some notable additions to the Sharp X68000 floppy list, and even an obscene Pokémon hack for Game Boy that’s being sold in China.
The end of the month is almost here, and it’s time to unwrap another shiny MAME release. This time around we’ve had the pleasure of seeing Angelo Salese show us all that he’s a bug-fixing machine, resolving many long-standing bugs in playable games (including graphical glitches in Combat School, and issues with slopes in Sunset Riders). Highlights from newly emulated machines include the Esselte 100 classroom computer from Sweden (thanks Edstrom), Slap Shooter (courtesy of ShouTime and the Dumping Union), the French version of the Apple //e Enhanced, the original Japanese version of Street Fighter with pneumatic buttons (thanks ShouTime), and the original version of Nintendo’s Popeye on Sky Skipper hardware (yet another gem from ShouTime).
On the gambling front, we have another batch of layouts from John Parker, clickable button lamps for more machines from einstein95, and improved inputs/output for a number of games from AJR. Speaking of inputs and outputs, Risugami added/improved outputs and layouts for a number of Midway games.This release includes preliminary support for persistent controller ID mappings from Tomer Verona. This may help if you’re having issues with Xbox controllers appearing in a different order when you relaunch MAME. If you’re interested, check out the documentation and see if it helps. It’s still not particularly easy to use, but it’s ready for testing and improvement and may be useful, particularly for people with wireless controllers.
Other notable improvements include working envelope and LFSR emulation for Mega Duck, better emulation of MCU communication for Taito Super Qix hardware, support for multiple BBC Micro floppy drive controllers, restoring the ability to have MAME accept incoming socket connections to communicate with an emulated serial port, and more features for the UI graphics viewer.
MAME 0.178 also adds software list updates with the latest prototype cartridge dumps, numerous bootlegs and alternate versions of supported games, and steady progress on non-working systems like the CMI IIx and LSI Octopus. Nueva beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl,permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opciones.
Cambios:
– Fixed double free in RTL8019 9346 EEPROM emulation. Caused random crashes.
– Implemented DP8390 NIC support (Same register set as NE2000 but without on board RAM « fake DMA » support)
– Added DP8390 based NICs, ASDG LAN Rover/EB920 and Hydra AmigaNET.
– Moved slirp/winpcap option to Expansions -> Network Adapters. Note: Still can’t have more than 1 network device active.
– Removed A2065, NE2000 PCMCIA and Realtek 8029 PCI GUI checkboxes. Everything is now under Network Adapters.
– Expansion device select menu sorting fixed.
– winpcap mode now by default uses generated local MAC address (aa-82-8a-xx-xx-xx xx=from physical NIC MAC), or if A2065, it uses real A2065 00-80-10-xx-xx-xx MAC. This fixes conflicts with Windows’ use of same physical NIC. Custom winpcap MAC address can be forced by editing config file (*_rom_options=mac=xx.xx.xx.xx.xx.xx). GUI is not yet supported. Physical NIC is also switched to promiscous mode automatically if NIC MAC does not match Amiga side MAC.
– Ignore all received winpcap packets when emulation is paused.
– FFS partition HDF (with WB 1.3 disk L:FastFileSystem) now fully boots under KS 1.0.

ScummVM 1.9.0 "Myst-ery U.F.O.s release" "
Ha salido la nueva versión final de este maravilloso programa que permite que funcionen sin problemas y fácilmente muchas aventuras gráficas que eran de dos y hasta windows 98 en multitud de plataformas incluyendo claro esta windows, linux, ios, psp, dreamcast, etc

Cemu v1.6.1
Nueva versión final de este emulador de Wii U que va mejorando cada vez más pero por ahora empiezan a funcionar juegos, es algo lento todavía pero progresa muy rápido.
Caracteristicas:
- Puede correr umagenes de Wii U encriptadas (WUD) y archivos RPX/RPL
- Resolución Interna es 1920x1080 (Si el juego la soporta)
- Sin optimizar. Espera bajos framerates y largos tiempos de carga.
- Funciona sólo en Windows x64 . puede que en otras plataformas posteriormente.
- Requerido OpenGL 3.3

- Nuevo ubniversal GPU buffer cache (reemplaza el vertex cache)
- Soporte de NFC

Phoenix v2.8
Una nueva versión final de este gran emulador de la consola 3DO para windows y Linux crado por el programador ruso Altmer,usa renderizado por Hardware para mejorar la imagen, soporta isos comprimidas, etc, y ahora tambien la conola SMS.
Nuevo en esta versión para windows:

- Optimized original software renderer 3DO
- Improved MARIA mode CEL-Engine (D, Samurai Shawdow, ...?)
- Fixed an order of operations over the second source in the pixel processor 3DO (Crash'n'Burn)

- Option drawing CCB-list at the end of the allotted time (helps in Phoenix 3)

Snes9x v1.54
Ha salido una nueva versión final de uno de los mejores emuladores de la consola Super Nintendo (SNES) , ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la última versión y por ahora solo ha salido en la versión de windows tanto en 32 como en 64 bits, no parece que sean compatibles los savestates con la versioón anterior pero en esta tiene unas cuantas novedades interesantes como el añadido del filtro xBRZ

WinUAE v3.4.0 Beta 11
Nueva beta del mejor emulador que hay del ordenador Commodore Amiga, permite usar todos los distintos modelos de Commodore desde el Amiga 500 , 1200C CDTV, CD32 y con muchos modos gráficos usando dx,opengl,permitiendo que los juegos ocupen toda la pantalla sin ningún borde,lectura de los cd en cdtv y cd32 mucho mas rápida que en la consola original, uso de savetates y muchas otras opcioes.
Cambios:
– Added generic Z2/Z3 autoconfig support to expansion.cpp. Previously each expansion type needed own separate autoconfig handling.
– Ariadne II added but not yet working. Drivers require working 9346 EEPROM chip. (RTL8029 is NE2000 clone with some extra features)
– Any archive mounted as a harddrive: skip files with zero length file names.
– LZX archive mounted as a harddrive: archives inside LZX archive didn’t always unpack and zero size files failed to open.
– Genlock custom video file, capture device and image file support fully implemented. GUI support added. Uses obsolete DirectShow SampleGrabber method which is not necessarily supported with all video iles/capture devices. Image support requires png image files. Scaling is simple integer scaling. Genlock display changes to blue if image, video or capture device fails to open. Capture option uses default capture device. You may get few seconds of blue genlock screen before capture/video initializes fully. Maximum pointlessness feature level reached!
– uaesnd updates. It can play sound for the first time.
– Test compilation with Visual Studio 15 Preview 5.

WinUAE v3.4.0 Beta 10

– ColorBurst emulation, partial. Only existing software seems to be « CB Paint Update » in TOSEC.
ColorBurst is functionally nearly identical to OpalVision but has less features. Note: that most test
programs are buggy and very CPU speed sensitive, the slower the CPU the less you see..
– It was not possible to edit directory harddrive volume or device name.
– Current visible RTG display state was not fully re-initialized when system was reset.
– Increased GUI max size limits to support very high resolution screens.
– Some accelerator boards (for example CSMK1) mapped 128k board to Z2 autoconfig space when correct size was 64k. Caused validation halt error and/or reset loop if it wasn’t last Z2 board.
